If you've been following me since I started blogging, you may recall a post called "My Photography Bucket List". This was a list of wishes, goals, etc that I myself wanted to accomplish during my photography career. Sure some are a little more intense than others, and some are even a little cliche.. but that still doesn't change that fact that I want to show what I could create/accomplish with my eyes & my talent.
That being said, I give you my first official bucket list check mark... #5- Capture a dancer in mid-air.
There is no way to possibly describe how excited I was for this session. Not only was I getting to work with one dancer, but two! Yes two!
First let me tell you about Megan. Megan is strong, elegant, passionate, graceful and very skilled when it comes to dance. I've never watched a dancer so close before and was stunned by the art that was unfolding right before my eyes. It was perfect. Just positively perfect.
Now, onto Madalyn. Do not let her age fool you. This little miss is sharp, energetic, enthusiastic and very outgoing. Little M is going to have such a bright feature when it comes to dance, and quite honestly anything that comes her way. How do I know? When she was trying to perform a certain dance move, she couldn't quite get it at first. Did she give up? No! She kept working until it was perfect, and once it was perfect someone walked into the picture (another photographer actually) and completely ruined the whole thing. Instead of giving up, she moved quickly up into the very graceful pose. I clicked and it was magic from there.
I give you, the beauty of a dancer....
